Hello

My name is James

I started training as a Yoga teacher in 2015. In 2017 I was lucky enough to spend 6 months at Ananda Ashram in Pondicherry India. Here we studied from 5.30am - 9pm daily. At the end of the course I was awarded the title "Yoga Sadhaka" and the name Dhananjay. I don't mind being called James or Dhananjay.

I have now undertaken 1700 hours of Yoga teacher training from the UK and India. I also have a BSc in Community Health and Well-Being which has given me a deeper understanding of anatomy, physiology and a wider view of health. Since graduating I have worked for lots of charities, for the past 3 years I have worked in local GP surgeries teaching cognitive behavioural skills for stress, anxiety and depression.

I am really passionate about helping people to lower their stress levels and believe Yoga can help everyone to be healthier and happier. My mission is to deliver the best authentic Yoga classes that I can, and to create a welcoming environment where everyone can practise Yoga.
